Hi World!
In 1987 I survived a horrific car accident that fractured my femur bone resulting in severe chronic back pain. This marked the beginning of my new reality, a cruel and enduring relationship with pain and suffering.
After the tragic events of September 11th "911" I received a vivid image of the United States of America held in God´s impaled hands. I brought this to life in a drawing then a painting to inspire hope and healing for our nation.
The realization of my passion for painting emerged from tragedy, my creativity inspired by pain and an unlikely outlet became a way to express love as well as a means to manage my suffering.
I had never done it, but painting became a way to help me overcome my health problems. Painting generates a feeling of tranquility and fulfillment, it brings me closer to God, Life is God and God is life.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
Life has given me PAIN; it has left
me SHATTERED. Many times I have SUFFERED and cried in my own solitude, but I
didn’t give up. I strive to seek happiness. It isn’t always easy, but life
itself gives me STRENGTH! Life has taken much away, but at the same time GIVEN
ME MORE THAN I EVER EXPECTED!
“Life is beautiful!” ”La
vida es maravillosa!”
I
like to paint with “Oil base” on canvas, this has been my favorite, but I also
use other mediums such as soft and hard “Pastels”. I keep learning and continue
working to find my own technique and style.
